Simple Self Esteem Booster
Tuesday, 30 August 2011 20:01

Learning to tie shoes is a milestone for children (Parents too!) and a great boost to their self esteem.

Though most children’s shoes feature Velcro closures, learning to tie ones own shoes is still considered to be a skill that children should master by 5 or 6 years of age. But, teaching a child to tie his own shoes can be frustrating; children can lose interest quickly if they feel the task is too difficult (Parents too!), or they may seem to "get it" one day only to completely forget the next.

Have no fear, I've got a great trick up my sleeve that makes teaching a child to tie their own shoes a bit easier. All kids learn differently, but One, Two, Tie My Shoe is one of the best ways to teach a child how to tie their shoes.  This technique makes it quick easy and fun!
